By this time, The Dynamic Miss Faye Carol & Her Trio was known for top notch, world class music. She released Classic Caroling in 1982 and Alive at the Great American Music Hall in 1985.

 

Faye Carol provided a place for young musicians to learn jazz in the traditional way of disciplined practice & consistent performances. 

 

Her audiences were a combination of folk who were introduced to her through her work in gospel, soul, R&B, cabaret, jazz, and blues. She was awarded the Top Star Award and appeared with such artists as Eddie 'Cleanhead' Vinson, Pharoah Sanders, Gene Ammons, and Ray Charles.
